(Fixed-term) Health Partnership Lead


 
The Role:
As a Health Partnership Lead, you will be responsible for leading market awareness, account insights and customer analysis, strategy and engagement, execution, tendering, contracting, as well as pricing and reimbursement negotiations. You will work to foster deep and meaningful partnerships with key institutions, HCP’s, external stakeholders resulting in long-term ongoing opportunities that drive product choice and brand adoption. You will create a value co-creation partnership with each customer to establish company and product brand loyalists by generating privileged insights and positioning Moderna as a partner for Healthcare ecosystems and populations. By doing this you can focus our core resources (e.g., marketing, market access, data specialists) and maximize the value for consumer, customers and Moderna.

Here’s What You’ll Do:
Generating and processing insights on local market trends, accounts, and competitors

Anticipating the commercial market drivers and ensuring the commercial insights are captured with the strategic plan by working closely with the team and external stakeholders

Through relationship building, securing important and privileged commercial insights that allow Moderna to anticipate the commercial market drivers and ensure Moderna is in position to adapt accordingly

Analyzing and segmenting buyer landscapes along different criteria including business opportunity, buying instrument, preferences, etc.

Analyzing and assessing the economics of accounts, and demonstrates Moderna´s value in the individual account context

Leading and executing the account planning & management with regards to contracting and tender operations

Leading and executing contracting and tender operations for accounts incl. opportunity generation, listings/ supplier qualification, contracting/ bidding processes, negotiations, and performance management/ monitoring

Tracking tenders and collaborate cross functionally to shape and respond in a timely manner

Performing required internal organizational alignment including access & pricing, supply management, marketing, medical, etc.

Ensuring consistent implementation of price governance for contracting activities

Planning and executing pull through promotion to e.g., physicians, pharmacists via multiple direct channels (approved emails, mailing campaigns, video calls, etc.)

Creating and delivering opportunities to demonstrate the value of Moderna´s portfolio to account stakeholders

Adjusting and deploying channel specific and tailored account communication materials across touchpoints utilizing the most appropriate technologies to support decision making and effectively create desired behavioral change and customer experience

Assuming account responsibility for sales performance and investments, delivery of business and sales targets within a defined geographical territory

Utilizes the full capacity, experience, and knowledge of a multi-functional team and organization to co create innovative solutions for and with customers

Working with the functional leaders and business partners, utilizing the market and KOL procurement insights to inform the budget and long-term forecasts

Supporting the business strategy and target achievement

Building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision makers (purchasing groups and procurement in hospitals and vaccination centers, HCP)

Working in partnership with the Access Team, the Medical Team, the other relevant functions, and with all the colleagues of the Business Unit to ensure efficiency of teamwork and agree on a plan of action for roles and responsibilities

Developing trusted business relationships with relevant bodies to include Scientific Association, Commissioning Groups, territorial/hospital authorities, and relevant therapeutic organizations and associations

Supporting the process of forecasting sales targets throughout the financial calendar year

Lead the development and implementation of innovative strategies and tactics that can transform the customer experience and differentiates Moderna

Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table:
Bachelor’s Degree and 10+ years of experience in innovative pharmaceuticals brand management and/or customer facing roles

Master’s Degree in Science or Business is a plus

Understanding on vaccines and/or infectious disease is plus

Thinks strategically, prioritizes effectively and delivers high-impact results

Proven ability and hands-on experience in managing diverse product communications tools

Exceptional project management experience, including managing several programs/ projects simultaneously

Strong business acumen and robust understanding of regulatory requirements as they relate to marketing programs and initiatives

Demonstrated experience using innovative digital channels and platforms for customer

Collaborative leadership skills to influence without authority and work effectively with senior leadership

Ability to take initiative and work independently and is comfortable with ambiguity

Effectively negotiates and collaborates with stakeholders; demonstrates the ability to resolve conflict in a constructive manner

Strong and respectful interpersonal and partnering skills, and the ability to build meaningful and sustainable relationships at all levels and functions of the organization

A dynamic and positive team player with excellent organizational, influencing, presentation skills

Solution-oriented, demonstrates quick analysis, thoughtful and ethical judgment, and rapid response on issues and tasks

Pragmatic and willing to drive and support change

Ability to seek diverse input from multiple constituents and stakeholders to drive decisions and innovative solutions

Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Chinese
